Speak plainly

I've got something else to say.

I think I'm afraid of the things you said.

Like there's a storm raging where you are and I can't touch you.

I need you to know I'm here, as much as I can be.

Please believe I'm here.

Don't lose heart, body, mind

I cringe and write another line because that's the way I cope.

It's hard when your missing a part.

Are you okay?

What's life throwing at you that I can't see?

Is it just the dragging of separation or is the innate pain of life taking a toll?

Tell me.
