Speak Your Mind

Speak Your Mind

Imagine

Imagine speaking your mind

When you get that feeling in your chest

As if you chest is going to burst

And you hold it in

Imagine letting it free

And speaking your mind

Keep it real

Tell them how you feel

Find it in your heart

To speak your mind

Speak words that are real

Try not to be mean

But tell them how you feel

Let them know you’re sincere

Day or Night

They can count on you to keep it real

No evasion

No lies

Just honest truth of how you feel

Releasing your worries

Releasing your fears

Conveying your thoughts

Telling the world how you really feel

To you speaking your mind

Is like being free

It's the feeling an ex-convict gets

As he takes the first step our of jail

No more bars

Don’t need to keep yourself in check

You just want to live an honest life

No more worries

No more fears

No more wariness

Just speak your mind

And be free!
