Speaking A Differant Language

What happens when pain eats away at your soul
Envelopes your mind
Pain starts to take control
What about family and friends watching?
Do they try to help resolve a situation or merely watch with great frustration?
I've seen it all and I've got to say
Picking up a bottle is the worst way to cope
Weather it be anger or stress
It doesn't take away or make It less
Just dulls the pain till you wake up the next day
Hangover and all you can do is pray family's upset
Wanting you to quit and repent
One brave kid speaks up with great anguish
Seems like you two are speaking a different language
You're the only parent
The pressure is on
Gotta let go of that pain you've been holdin on
It's affecting you and your kids
For way to long
Let go of that guilt and all of that sadness
God has a plan even if it feels like madness
No need to be scared or sad or stressed
Our family is perfect we've all been blessed
You've been way to strong
And you're starting to crack
Just know that all we want
Is our mom back.
