Special gift
If only I knew what item to choose,
I would always cherish my name plate necklace,
It was a special gift given to me from mom,
It's the only and last item I received,
there it lays in a special case,
I will forever keep this gift,
It's the only part,
I have left of my mom in memory,
who knew it would be,
the last time you spend Christmas and other special occasions with,
remembering her last words,
to never take off or break this necklace,
to keep these words,
to commit to my memory,
this gift will always have a place,
close to my heart.
