That Special One

Have you ever needed that special someone
So congenial
And radiant
That you couldn't help but take a liking to them?
Someone that is quiet
And shy
Yet their taciturn nature is what makes you want to talk to them.
They never fulminate with anyone
They don't get mad
Or yell
Or scream.
Every idea they have and emotion they feel is plausible, understandable
Completely reasonable.
They usually come off as innocent
Leading you to believe that they're as pure as one of those age-old
Primordial mythical creatures
That caused the sorrow filled to weep
The grudge holders to forgive
The hopeless to fall in love
And the ill to be healed in one swift motion.
Yeah,
I don't need someone like that.
Now, what I do need is someone much more real.
 Someone who is rough
Around the edges
With some cracks
And missing pieces
Because that'll make them even more unique
I need someone who is loud
And speaks their mind
Voices their opinion.
Every idea and emotion they have
Will be unpredictable
Random
Yet full of life
In possession of reasoning if you listen close enough.
No,
They won't be some innocent primordial creature
But rather an undiscovered,
Mysterious beast
That can't be tamed
And I don't plan to train it.

No,
I need someone with a wild
Convivial nature.
They'll compliment
 My rowdy and recalcitrant demons.
Their voice will match the volatile
Voices in my head.
When we touch, a surge of inconceivable power
And Unconditional love will flow through us.

So instead of a picaresque angel
I need to find heaven
With an archangel
Who can repair my wings
I need a tailor who can sew my heart up
I need someone who completes my whole.

I need that special one.
