That special something

Your black and white skin has a calling for me When I see you, I see no one but you. I would tell you I love you, But I'm sure you feel the same way too. An unexplainable bond where I can feel your thoughts towards me I know you hate me when I don't spend time with you You're the jealous type, I know. But I hate when other people take you from me, But you already know I'd fight for you until the end My favorite time of day is when we're outside and I can feel you close to me That's when I realize you were my first love. The rush I get when I'm with you is the same I felt when I met you, 12 years ago. I guess you can say we're basically committed to each other, But you really are my best friend. When I kick you around you know its love. And it's not so much of an abusive relationship, Because you find it more abusive when I don't take you outside and play with you You'll always be my first love And I'll never leave you nor forget you Because your black and white skin, Your white complexion, your black sewed patches, The leather that encases you Reminds me of my 4 year old self kicking you for the first time ever. That's when I knew we'd be life partners you will always be my favorite, and I will never neglect you, because you've taught me so much about myself. Most people only see you as a soccer ball Or as sports equipment But they don't know about the bond we share. You are my soccer ball, but also my life companion
