That Special Thing

The waves are rough

but the boat is tough

The thunder said "crack"

but the boat was not going back

the sails were hit

I think this might be it

The boat split right in two

but I knew what I had to do

I floated to shore with one special thing

to help take away the painful sting

The island was bare

not a soul was there

no water or food

but i was in a good mood

because I had that one special thing

to help take away the sting

the beach was hot

one thing is all I got

I dont need no shade

I dont need no food to be made

because I had that one special thing

to help take away the sting

That special thing is all I need

It lets my heart feel freed

It keeps me happy

although It may be sappy

but that one special thing

is that special girl that is my everything
