Special, Like You

My Sister's special... and she's unique too...

She's not just like me, or like you.

God made her different, in a beautiful way,

and He reminds me of that every day...

Sometimes she struggles with things I find easy,

other times she's the one who's there to protect me teasing.

She's strong through her weakness, and a healer from pain.

Her differences make her who she is, so I'd never let her change!

Each one of us is different, yet special through and through.

So...if you find a heart like hers, I hope it reaches you!

My sister has Down's Syndrome, which I think is just fine,

See...she's my baby, my best friend, my special girl, and most of all, she's MINE!
