Speech to the Young: Rules

“Follow the rules,”

“Buckle your seatbelt,”

instructions you hear in and out of school.

You feel like a tool,

extreme expectations,

authorities seem to have become cruel.

One will call you a fool

despite your decision

while others continue to think that you’re cool.

“Follow the rules,”

“Buckle your seatbelt,”

abiding by such can change lives.
