Speechless

Staring at this paper, Why can't I write these words? Writing it down won't help Because it'd be better if you heard. A temporary problem, Is not what this has become. Because my aching heart, Beats to a different drum. Like a parachute, It protects from the pain. But my protection, Has been maimed. Exterior strong, Interior week, I know the words But why can't I speak?
