Speechless
Words fly from my head
And into my mouth
I swallow them down
Forget what they’re about
When the bubble up
Or threaten to show
I do all I can
I do all I know
I try to paint them clear
But It just makes them reflective
I try to forget they’re near
They try to put my life in perspective
The swallow me whole
But I don’t let them out
I can’t and I won't
That’s what this poem’s about
