In my dream we were dared to kiss.

I never thought we would till you did.

So surprised was I at this

That the feelings I once hid

I could now not dismiss.

That kiss felt so surreal…

As if I dreamt within a dream.

Words could never reveal

The pain of wounds unseen

By lips I kissed but did not feel.
