Spheres of Light
Looking upon stars-
Glowing spears of light,
Like a child
Amazed at fireflies.
Realizing:
I'm entity small,
A speck in a grand world;
Erratically beautiful
Phenomenally tranquil.
What lies beyond,
A world of comfort,
Normalcy?
Fear, of a final frontier/
Mixed with doubt
(Of others, unlike anon)
/embedded with terror;
Contrary were must
Completely probable,
That their are others-
Contrasting us not
In a world never ceasing
(Impossible to imagine
Compellingly accurate)
We might-just might
Be aliens as well,
To a species parallel to us
Look unto the stars,
If you look hard enough-
You'll see yourself
In the darkening abase...
