Spider like

I would cry a million times, but the wells have all gone dry A little lie I can't forget, a truth I hide behind Never claimed to be a Saint, Nor a Sinner I'm so faint I spin a web to wrap around myself, I'm the only one stuck in this trap Legs to walk the rope, pray the rain won't give way to hope I express myself through agony, but I can see the end of me I lie alone in bed at night, crying out for love to find A shattered mirror catches my fall, impaling me with the truth of it all So I write these virtues, to release myself But I feel like such a thrall, I've seen it all and I've watched my fall These eyes I use to see, they're not my own please leave me be In the end I'm just a man, and all in all I wish I'd ran
