Spinning
What is it
about life
that makes life
such a challenge?
Is it the uphill battles
with the rocks
crumbling underneath
your feet,
sending you
right back to
the beginning
of your journey?
Might it be
the stormy waves
crashing through your
thoughts
like the rattle
of the
windowpanes
in a thunder
storm?
These things,
these thoughts,
they are destructive.
They tumble
and rumble
through your mind,
leaving behind
a path of loose
and jumbled
emotions
like the lives
torn apart
brick by brick
by the wrath
of a tornado
spinning out of control.
