Spiritual Ventilation

In this thing called life; I find myself trying to find its purpose

And I can not lie that even as a beliver in God, I often wonder if its all worth it

You see, I am taught to be strong, be steadfast, and to hold on to my faith

But its answers that I need now, and I am this close to feeling like I'm about to break

Lord, I am holding on to sanity; as you strengthen up the man in me

I'm trying to walk in faith, but I live in an damaged reality

Lord, I just need a Word from to maybe lessen the pain

Instill in me faith like the Sun; although I am going through a storm, let me shine again

I have to admit, Lord, that there is something wrong with my faith

I am surrounded deeply, I feel like I am trapped in a gate

I know that this sounds silly, so I'd say silly me; I know that I'm not alone so I guess its silly us

Trying to making in this life without faith is like is like trying to pass a college course without writing a syllabus

So Lord if You would, I ask that if my body has to suffer; I pray that You strengthen my spirit

And the confusion in my heart; I ask that You clear it
