Splash of color

Dark and alone,

Everything was grey.

Day to day,

It was all the same.

A bland piece of meat was my daily food from lifes buffet,

Rain leaked from me leaving a puddle of  white misty nothingness.

Life felt numb,

I was numb.

Then a splash of color was introduced to my mind,

It left a taste I could remember but not grasp.

Day by day,

A sensational flavor of color was my daily pleasure,

Blues, greens, reds, and purples.

That  white misty nothingness turned into wonderful, intracate, messy color.
