A Splash of White for the Soul

"Here you go" They said. "Here is your little bundle of joy" Like all, I had paused and reflected on my past. At that moment, I didn't mean to drown in drunken thoughts. I couldnt help it. So many emotions and memories had come to mind, that I could not keep them chained away any longer. Oh god! I wanted to make things right. Oh how I needed to make things right! I had been searching for my clean slate But did not realize the creamy, white paint ahead of me. That paint was my child. My splash of white My clean slate. My new soul.
