Split

It hurts to be alive sometimes,

inside this twisted head,

Contorting inside,

Kind of Arsinic, kind of Lead

But in spite of the forces that fight,

To escape from this demented twilight,

I sit here and rest in my bed,

Sometimes one, then another,

A constant loss in this hazy mist,

A fatal split, with a twist
