Split Personality

Two men blend into one Are they actually the same? Tall yet short Old but young Good and…evil? No, I must fight Fight this demon You cannot for he is you! I am…him? Losing the battle, I won the war! Oh did you really? Living now with renewed vigor Getting back in the swing of things I am normal again So you think You can’t hide from me forever I will rise No it cannot be true This cannot happen This demon within me is Rising again! What I thought would lift my spirits And bring me happiness Will lead to my demise. For shame, I beg forgiveness My poor friends are clueless What shall I do? My own selfish agenda Will lead to my dishonorable demise No one can help me Is that a knock? I shall die with my right mind But within this body Of a caged monster Set free at the wrong time So long dear friends…
