the split second

sometimes I can feel your skin on me

my breath deepens

quickens

sometimes that second kills more of me

breaks me

sometimes I wonder if the layer of disgust or fear will disappear

or I will be normal again

there's always a thought that i will always jump to loud sounds, or scream when someone touches me

that's the worst part
