Spoken Tide

Verbal

irrigation

streams

that rush and flow

Tributaries

far and wide

messages

in tow

Watering

the wasteland

Arid lulls

retreat

Freeing what

the silence hides

and reticence

— defeats

(Dreamsleep: April, 2025)
