Spoken Words

Yes, roses are red,

Violets are blue.

The same we've both heard

Yes, me and you

Yet not even a poem can tell of lovers true love

Not even a poem can tell of heavens above

But spoken words can tell of

Emotion,

Anger,

Doubt,

Or even devotion

Not ink on paper, my friend

But spoken words can help now and then
