The Sport I Love

Dear Baseball,

Baseball has been fun

Introduced to me by my dad

Since I was young

There are many good memories I have

I threw my first perfect game

With my favorite glove

That I used to practice and train

And play the game I love

The outfield is where I thrive

I’m the best at being second, in the lineup

Making plays when I dive

Watching the pitcher through his windup

When I play baseball, my feelings are blithe

I’ll be involved with the sport for the rest of my life

Sincerely,

Noel
