SPOTLIGHT

Wallowing in early childhood

The world was alive with magic, colours,

so deep, so vibrant like a dancing mind

Yet could not figure out where the secret lies

Embark on a fight of life

forgetting love and simple things

forgetting that good and bad are the rich fabrics of life

Losing myself in success, fame and fortune

Hunting, serching, finding, wanting things,

people to be mine

but never wanted a dream crushed rather fulfilled

A little with the giant whale in the deepest oceans

like ups and downs

i became a spotlight

darkness sees fly away

Money, fame, fortune became my concoction meal

i couldn't resist its sweet sensation

i swallow every depth of it

Climb the ladder of life

like a queen on her way to the banquet

Enjoyed my new identity

cos am unstoppable

not even fear, a nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror

that paralyzes needed effort could stop me

Gathered gigantic success

Clothed in buoyant, vibrant vision and emotion

i became a galaxy of gorgeous skies

Treated like a diamond

Signed autographs of fan who are as much as an ant in a sugar cube

Not knowing i was preparing the ticket of my flight to a poisonous ocean

i let my new identity get stuck in my brain

people become nothing but trash to me

Days, weeks, months, years passesby

life became a copybook bisected with red ink and failures

Could not absorb the torture anymore

i recall that unfortunate but faithful night

i did let him in

At the brink of twilight

I felt his warmest embrace

it was so calm like a calmed roaring storm

Though it breaks me, burn me, turning, losing

every joint from my bones

i still great within

Never knew the happiness was temporay

Nor depression forever

cos i was blindfolded, entangled by his awesomeness

i gave sovereignty over my mentality

Made him the sailor of my life

He became my manager and i his utility

I became the person

I tried my hardest not to be

Feared to protect myself

cos what if living today means dying tomorrow

Emptied like a vaccum

i knew i need something to fill this void

But things changes

and problems don't, unless one find solution

which seem so far in the future

Consumed by the pain, shame, anguish it inflicted

i became a carcass like a waste product in empty vessel

Spotlight to all

became a dim light

like a lit candle quenched in a dark room

No new path, friends,

No more award, trophy

No more parties to go

No more new clothes,

No travels to do

Everything seems its ending

Had a theraphy sessions of tears enough to feed the nation

i couldn't help myself

I looked east, west, north and south

if the world would help me

nor the walls that have ears, but concentration loose its distance

As i kneel down wailing

There was darkness, frigid cold inside

Fear took my soul spirit away

The treasure i once possessed have left me

I cried tears, laugh and feel my pain

Sadly i felt the curtain will fall

Everything was a twist of fate

But the painful truth lies beneath the surface

I realized pride goes before fall

Pride and reputation has no hurdle

Now i found my truth

Now i found the truth of life

Knowing that the only one who would dare to save me

When no soul can save me from this poisonous ocean

Who ever cried and cared despite all

I looked up

Cried like an insane pandomonium

Then i heard a soft voice from heaven

Here is a chance

Here is grace

Your treasure is been restored

Remember humble thyself

i will draw near thee

humbly thyself

My presence shall cheer thee

I will not walk with the proud or the scornful

Remember spotlight !!!
