Spring Ahead New season in life Oh how I can’t wait To leave the cold winter behind And forget my mistakes Spring time brings a new start, a new hope and purpose Looking forward to what’s in store In my life And what’s is going to surface Flowers blooming, sun booming fresh air in the atmosphere With a deep breath I take it all in with out any fear Springing forward, springing ahead Winter is over, the old me is dead Defrosting from the cold lies winter time gave Warming up to a new life I so deeply crave Beautiful spring filled with new birth Like a flower I will bloom from this mother earth In the ground where I once lived my stem will begin to peek out Growing stronger each day with confidence no longer any doubt Leafs stretching out with passion, reaching out to this new life I’ve been given Rose petals spreading out showing the beauty that once was hidden Springing ahead with great expectations… I will walk thru with no hesitations I will stand strong in the sun as it radiates over my garden Giving me strength to overcome a winter heart that was harden As the butterflies fly and the birds begin to sing This season no more tears caused by the sting It’s my time to shine to melt away the chill of rejection Moving on moving forward with Gods loving protection Dolvas 3/2/13
