The Spring of Enlightenment
Breath taking views
Cover the landscapes.
Red birds chirp loudly,
Green grass
Sways in the wind.
Beautiful souls,
Large oak trees.
Inner peace.
A yellow rose,
And a blanket of snow
The brown soil
Seeps into the cracks
Of broken stones,
Allowing for growth,
The glassy black rocks still remain
A rainy summer
With colorful rainbows,
Fill the air with a
Sense of belonging
And eternal hope
Blue skies,
Remembering of yesterday.
Vivid dreams,
And dark nightmares.
Obituaries flock the air
Those lost
Are paid tribute to.
Legacies and heirs
Each one leaving a mark
None are ever forgot
Enlightenment
Embodies the culture.
Encouraging curiosity
While preserving mankind.
Each thought, with modesty in mind.
Revolutions fought,
Governments kept in check,
Promises of a better future,
Lures in the people
Leading them to destruction.
The ultimate sacrifice
Is questioned.
A new age is rising.
The choice is theirs:
Good or evil?
