Spring is here!

When winter has taken it's last breath,

Spring is here to express life rather than death;

The cool, breezy days are longer,

Now there is more time for ponder;

The flowers begin to bloom,

Alongside the rivers gracious womb;

The trees are beginning to bud,

Torrential rains could possibly bring flood;

Which will clean nature’s smooth terrain,

And prepare it for animals reign;

Mothers will begin to find their mates,

Preparing themselves for their birthing dates;

New babies will spring and sprout,

Rabbits, deer, opossum and trout;

But when all is said and done,

Spring is here and it has just begun!
