Springs Eternal
Oh, what a beautiful world
No, I am not marred
Nor will I be resigned
I can make fire
From the bones
Of this land, I've done it
Before, I will do it again
I have made more with less
Those graced with what
Others will call childlike
Naivety are those who
Shape the stars in the sky
Into creatures and heroes
And guiding lights
They are sleeping giants
Awoken by the greatness of
This life, I will not
Sit quietly here for
I have hope
The ship sailing me home
Even here alone this
Warmth remains in me
It is a beautiful world
And the open expanse
Of the wide awake ocean
The endlessness of the sky,
Dancing with light and an
Unheard music calls out
To us dreamers and
Wills us to remain
Basking in the magic
Of cityscapes, lush forests
And, yes, even deserted islands
Oh, this world we live in
Is beyond beautiful
And I will live
