Spurned

A plastic bottle on the desk, A silent poem for the rest. A hockey puck in the wall, One act can change it all. A crumpled note on the floor, Unspoken words keep red eyes sore. An unhinged door leads the way, To everything you forgot to say. Deserted now, Where you once were, The memory of a life spurned. One dirty handkerchief still in use, Is all that is left of your abuse.
