Squanderer

Sometimes it makes me wonder
and scratch my head and wonder
what good it does me to wonder.

And, for that, I can only ponder
what it means to wonder,
even though my mind always wanders.

Ah, see yonder!
What see I but a wayward squirrel!

But that does make me wonder
does that squirrel, too, ponder?
But what does he wonder?

But there are even more important questions to ponder
like does he wander
while he ponder
while he wonder!?

Ah, but a bajillion questions to ponder
and not a single second to squander!

Think ye, and ponder
is it but lowly to squander
whilst one does but wonder?

Think ye, and wonder
can one but ponder
and not have his mind wander?

Ah, but see yonder!
What see I but a wayward– tree?

Is it possible for he to wonder,
for he to ponder–
certainly not to wander.

All he is to do is squander.
but does he yet ponder?
That is absurd– I wonder?

Ah, my mind does but wander!
What am I to do, I wonder!

After all, I am only here to ponder
what it means to wonder
what good it does to wonder.

What is it even to yonder?
I mean launder.
Nay, squander.
Pounder?
Wonder! But wonder!
