Squeaks?

I had a mouse in my house, he was very cute to see. He wiggled his little whiskers, and twitched his nose at me. One day I saw my cat, with chubby chubby cheeks.. I yelled quite loud, HEY was that my Squeaks?? My cat just smiled and walked away.. I knew for me it was a sad, sad day. We had a funeral for the little guy. It was hard to have to say goodbye. But ever sense then, my cat will always stop, cough, and make a funny sound.. I always wondered if Squeaks never made it quite all the way down.

I have always loved poetry from a very early age. This was the very first poem I ever wrote.
