The Sruggle

Oh man, Life’s grabbed her whip again, beating me like one of my ancestors.

I got one knee down and my other knee is shaking.

This pain is excrucieating, but I’m not letting life beat me down.

Until the moment life gets tired, that’s when I’m going to strike.

But God knows when that’s going to happen.

If my ancestors could withstand this pain, that Its in my blood to endure this pain.

Beat me all you want, but my other knee is not going down. I’m not surrendering.

I think the whip penetrated deep enough to touch bone.

I feel like a lion because the Lord has given me enough strength to withstand this pain; so life can’t break me down.

I will be alright. I will be alright.
