S.S.S. LOTUS

Ephemeral is the effort to twist a knob

In sight one holds the wooden door

Of a future specimen, with a mere twist

At the hands of innocence

In the blinding light of the array

One step forward, one crashes into labyrinthine sands of the east

Upon the chariots within vertigo

Emerald shimmer, chatoyant of an oasis

An oriental statuesque seraglio, the cynosure of the plains

Gateway to the dragon's den

With a dulcet dagger to the brow

From the heavens above, in the form of a drop

The land gives birth to the petrichor upon the sands of time

Penetrating the core by Adam's ale

Evanescently an ethereal mirage no more in sight

Vaporized into dust under the suns of god

Vacuumed to fashion luminescence

Brilliance flooded by an eternity of a celestial body

A gleaming water lily

Sacred lotus, an elixir of eloquence

Magniloquence, grandiloquence

Holy serendipity

Polaris shines on thee

Ciao! My name's Miguel. I'm kind off an addict when it comes to Art. For me masterpieces say a lot about a person; and every pièce de résistance has its own unique story to tell.
