A stab in the back

There is so much pain
So much saddness and hate

Why can't the world just
Unconditionally love

Like I do
Like we do
Like we should do

But we don't
For some odd reason

We hate
And judge

For petty things
That aren't even worth it

And we aim to harm each other
Emotionally

We stab each other
With just our words

But nothing can hurt more
Than being stabbed
By someone we love
