Stains

Burning sunsets sting the eye

Lip gloss and nail polish run dry

Shoes are dirty after the day

The last day of school was the best part of May

Mummies are remembered for their tomb

Toys scatter the floor of the room

Not everything then left a stain

Only some things remain
