Stains of Love

Gone,

Like the clouds of yesterday

Gone,

Like a distant memory

She left in blackness

In a rush of pain,

A surge of tears

Leaving everything she knew behind

Gone,

Claiming to be fine

But the stains,

They told a different story

Memories,

Turned sour

Love extinguished,

Like candlelight

When their song ended,

So did their dance,

Their romance

Gone
