stalker

i look in the mirror and an unrecognizable figure stares back at me

she’s screaming at me, all my insecurities

she knows them all and doesn’t hesitate to bring me to my breaking point each time i glance back at her

she has me in a trance

it hurts so much to keep looking

but i cant look away

this is what everyday is like

except that figure isn’t across from me

in a mirror she’s in my head

in my heart

there’s no escaping her

I’ve been writing poetry for a while now. Posting some of my old works and sprinkling in some new ones, just for fun!
