Stand

Insatiable thirst Desire for more and more Lust, laziness, greed and virtue Takes all kinds to make the world go ‘round I disagree. My truth lies in wars, poverty, and disease. Your proof in what you fail to see. Hungry kids and homeless men Women disfigured by a lack of will… ….will to live and a promise to life. Beaten by a life so harsh and filled with pain. Many don’t even know their name… …their identity, what makes them be. Be happy, be unique, be free. So before you have another kiss… One more minute… and one more drink… …think of those who cannot… …who have not and who will not... …live to fight another day… …stand up and shout… …with conviction and a soul so deeply pure… ..it must stop here.
