To Stand and Fight
Awake amidst a solemn night
With hands outstretched towards the sky
A silent vow without a sound
That cast a fear below the ground
All you love will turn to dust
As with time all things shall rust
Within the hearts of all alike
rests a hope to one day rise
To see to live another day
To make a stand and carve a way
Against a fate so set in stone
That it leaves none but earth and bone
In spite of fear, In spite of blight
To smite the dark and seize the light
while knowing how the journey ends
As lightning sparks fire in rain
To clutch with us another day
Of what's destined to fade away
Yet till that day we'll grasp the sky
And cast the Day into the Night
