Stand Still

Pressure to do good

to do right

to be the one that anybody can count on

and turn to when they need a shoulder

or a hug

or a friendly face

What can I change

when the world around me is already changing?

What can I do

to make the world stand still?

Pressure to be good

to be right

to do the one thing nobody else can

and make something out of nothing

for a smile

or a loving look

What can I change

When I'm already the best I can be?

What can I be

when being me is not enough?

Pressure to find good

to find right

to turn around and find the happines

and share it with the the whole world, my world

for a moment

or a little less

What can I change

When the world cannot see what I see?

What can I do to show them....

to make the world stand still?
