Stand By You

I look at you you look at me, dancing away in a summer dream. I turn to you and take your hand. Saying I love you before I stop to stand. As fall approaches, you will soon be gone to continue your studies, all year long. I look at you as we walk home, and stop to say you will never be alone. I will be with you through Hell or high water whenever you feel as though you might falter. I love you and I will stand by you.
