Stand your ground

Pushing.

Pulling.

You're tearing me apart.

push me in one direction,

While pulling in the other.

I am flexible,

But i do not stretch that far.

I bend,

I break,

I mend,

But there is only so much

That i can take.

Keep me stretched,

I will not return

To my original.

Keep pushing me,

I will get stronger.

Until you can't

Push me anymore.

Gain my balance

Face my woes

Stand my ground

Feel more highs

Say good riddance

To all my lows.
