        A Hmong woman with short hair and golden highlights, is not elegant

You must know how to set the table with traditional meals,

        A Hmong woman, who considers her breakfast as a bowl of oatmeal and honey, her

Lunch as a turkey panini, and dinner as grilled chicken breast and quinoa,

Is not worthy to a family

You must be slim and tall,

        A Hmong woman who is petite and curvy, is not striking

This is what it means to be a Hmong Princess

Despite the good you may do, the Hmong will talk

        We see this in the Hmong Pageants

It is the 21st Century and time to bend the rules,

A woman who chases after her dreams,

Speaks her mind,

Uses education and knowledge to bring forth power,

A woman who knows how to empower,

Is a Queen
