Standing Strong

What is love and what is lust A typicall question that gets asked often Growing up in a home where there is no love No one understands her struggle They don't feel her pain But she still standing strong strong Her mother is a drunk And her father is an addict Not giving her any attention Only caring about themselves and not supporting her She has to provide for herself But she still stands strong She feels unsafe and shes crying for help But no one is out to listen She thought school would be her only escape Until she was bullied and raped She's doesnt know what to do or who to go to But she still stands strong Months have passed and her mother was arrested Her father gave up on her and put her in a foster home She wanted to end it all, until she found out she was three months pregnant No one wanted to take her in because of her situation And it was her senior year at school She didnt know how she would do this on her own But she still stood strong She's graduated highschool and got accepted to a UC Now she raising her baby and attending school She thought no one cared about her She's grateful for her son, and she's becoming a women She found a job and an appartment When everything fell down for her She still stood strong
