Standing Strong

I have to strong

Even though my mind is fragile

With thoughts that make my mask crack

With unshedded tears that flood my eyes

And drown my heart in sorrow

I have to be strong

To provide my mom with comfort

To be the shoulder she cries on

To help her defeat her battles

Even though I'm losing my own

I have to be strong

To show my dad he raised princess

Who guards and protects her family

That is brave enough to defend his throne

Even though he is gone

I have to be strong
