A Star Cannot Shine Without a Little Darkness

I want walk among the vast stars

Be so far in deep space

Where Earth is but a faint memory

A blurry image

In my galaxies of thought

I want to forget everything I've locked away in the deepest parts of my mind

Just simply be present in a non-existent time

The weight of humanity floating away like distant memories

Soon to be forgotten

I want to close my eyes on all my worries

Feel even the simplest of stresses distance themselves

As I lie among the constellations

Oh how simple it would be

If I was just another star burning in this infinite universe

Existing to give life

And surely

One day

Burn out
