Star Gazer

I long to search the sky To discover all the mysteries that lie To see the stars like my ancestors past To explore a place of cosmic blast To look and dream and wonder about A place so vast, were inside meets out Where questions meet the truth we seek A terrain of breathtaking sights A place where my soul takes flight For now I shall lie on my back Look up at the stars that never lack The shining lights that guide my dreams I look to the sky as it shines and gleams
