Star Might

A world in darkness,

Barren stone,

Evil whispers

broken bone.

People crying,

Hope does fade

Into the darkness,

Shrouded shade.

People dying,

Help they cry,

Into the heavens,

Reaching high.

Finally heard,

The people sing,

As the star

Falls in the ring.

A ring of stones

Worn by time,

Pieces shroud,

This land of mine.

Broken heart

Of star so strong

Becomes the heroes

The people long.

A mighty blow

A mighty heart

Into the fray

Rips them all apart.

Light is coming,

Hope lives on,

Into the light

Is darkness drawn.

The battles over,

The star has won.

Now are the days

Of the mighty sun.
