Starfire

I stood alone on one quiet night

Out where the moon shines so very bright

I looked up forever, gazing higher and higher

Amazed and inspired by that shining starfire.

The Almighty’s Hand is so creative in play

Invisible but visible as we live day to day

This very world, even the air which we breathe

Are His works, so precise, so hard to believe!

But this starfire above enchants me the most

Infinite, forever, a great mighty host

Sparkling like glitter yet in glorious splendor

Yet so unique it might make one shiver!

You see, the Creator of the earth made also these

And their purpose for mankind was but to please

But they are unique, and so are we

So open your eyes that you may see!

Yes, the Creator of these also made you

Knew you, loved you before he formed you

He made you unique, just like a star

So be grateful, and may you go very far!
